Camping

Here are some of our camping locations within the past two years.

  • Beach Jam at Morey's Pier in May
  • Whitewater Rafting in June
  • Hikes in Appalachian Trail
  • Dog sledding in Vermont
  • West Point - Trips to West Point includes attending a football game.
  • US Naval Academy - Merit badge sessions were part of the camping weekend.
  • Fall Camporee at Round Valley, NJ
  • Camp Minsi (PA) for a spring camp including fishing.
  • Camp Citta in Barnegat, NJ for a weekend spring camp.
  • Warbirds for a June camping
  • One week summer camp at Camp Winnebago.
          You can gain numerous merit badges during this camp!
  • Winter Camping at Camp NoBeBoSco
  • Resica Falls in PA
  • Camping at Gettysburg PA. Historical park to visit.
  • Activities

    Here are some of our activities within the past year.

  • Indoor Rock Climbing
  • Walk the Memorial Day Parade and our Scouts led the parade!
  • Assist our local Firehouse company and Rescue Squash to wash their trucks.
  • Learn CPR and other lifesaving measures from our EMS.
  • Game Truck
  • Cooking/Manhunt/Soap Carving
  • High Adventure

    Some of our boys went to this trip in June 2023.
    Philmont. Our next crew is going in June 2027!
    We have also completed Seabase and Summit Bechtel high adventure trips in recent years.

    One way to help raise funds to an Eagle Scout Project is to ask for assistance.

    Advancement

    Our Scouts work on Advancement on a regular basis to rank up.

  • Watchung Trail Cleanup
  • WRIP (Watchung Reservation Invasive Plants) at Watchung Reservation
  • Collect donations for Feeding Hands
  • Collect toiletries for Lyons Veteran Center
  • Collect donations for a food pantry in Basking Ridge, NJ
  • Assist Church of Little Flower with their outdoor fire pit during Easter Vigil and any other liturgical requirements and/or parish community building.
  • Assist Berkeley Heights Cub Scouts with their Pinewood Derby & Year end carnival.
  • Assist Rotary Club with Christmas Luminaries
  • Assist Turtle Back Zoo with creating enrichment spaces for the animals using cardboard decorated with pet safe paint.
  • Annual maintenance of 9/11 memorial park located on Park Ave
  • Maintenance of Eagle Scout Troop 368 projects
  • Assist BH Environmental Commission with their initiatives.
  • Volunteer to help activities for younger kids at Berkeley Heights elementary schools and the surrounding communities.
